On May 13, 2025, a research team from the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, led by Liang Xiaoyan—a first-class staff member of the Provincial Petrochemical Trade Union and a member of the industrial reform task force of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions—visited Rhein K?ster for a focused investigation on the role of the innovative industry-education integration studio. Leaders accompanying the research included Han Bing, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Zibo Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and Kang Tao, Deputy Director of the Production Protection Department of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions.

The research team conducted an on-site visit to the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base at Rhein K?ster. They observed the internship and practical training sessions for Dalian Polytechnic University’s Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering majors, as well as the hands-on training classes of the “AI + Sino-German Rhein K?ster Smart Craftsman Class” students. Additionally, they focused on understanding the establishment, operational effectiveness, and distinctive features of the Innovative Craftsman Talent Studio.

The Hu Pengchang Innovative Craftsman Talent Studio at the Zibo Sino-German Digital Intelligence Craftsman College is led by Hu Pengchang, a provincial-level technical expert, and brings together an elite team in the field of intelligent manufacturing. Driven by dual engines of technological innovation and industry-education integration, the studio focuses on solving core challenges in smart production lines.

The research group visited the Sino German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Education Integration Demonstration Base operated by Rheingold, focusing on the company’s innovative practices in building new research and development institutions, tackling key technologies, and attracting high-end talents. They also observed the internship and training of the Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering major at Dalian University of Technology and the AI+Sino German Rheingold Intelligent Craftsman Class, experiencing the educational characteristics of “deep integration of theoretical teaching and production practice”.
