From October 25th to
27th, the “2023 Sino German (Taicang) Education and Industry Cooperation and
Exchange Conference” was held in Taicang, Jiangsu. Professor Lothar Budde,
former Vice President of the University of Applied Technology in Bielefeld,
Germany, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bavarian Institute of
Education and Digitalization in Germany, as well as Tang Jun, President of Rhein
Koester China, were invited to attend the meeting.

Prof. Lothar Budde gave
a presentation entitled “German Vocational Education 4.0 in the Context of
Industry 4.0”, which analyzed work and education in the digital era in the
context of German dual vocational education, focusing on the feasibility of the
teaching factory as an innovative re-education center.

After the meeting, Cao
Yumei, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and
other leaders visited the Jianxiong-Rhein Koester Industry 4.0 Teaching Factory
under the introduction of Su Xiaofei, Secretary of the Party Committee of
Suzhou Chien-shiung Institute of Technology, Tang Jun, President of Rhein
Koester China, and Wang Wei, General Manager of the Education and Training
Division of Rhein Koester.
