On the morning of October 30, 2023, the signing and
inauguration ceremony of the International College of the University of
Paderborn (Beijing) was held in the Sino-German Building of the Sino-German
Industrial Park in Beijing. Prof. Lothar Budde, President of the International
College of the University of Paderborn (Beijing) and Chairman of the Board of
Directors of the Bavarian Institute for Education and Digitization, Zhong
Junwei, Executive Rector of the Sino-German Campus of the University of
Paderborn (Beijing) and Dean of the International College of the University of
Paderborn (Beijing), Tang Jun, President of the Rhein Koester Group in China,
and Sun Hailong, Vice President for Operations of the Sino-German Industrial
Park, attended and witnessed the ceremony together.

The International College of the University of Paderborn
(Beijing) will be built jointly by the University of Paderborn and the Rhein
Koester Group, and is planned to be located in the Sino-German Industrial Park
in Beijing and complete its enrollment in June 2024, with an enrollment of 500
students in Beijing.
