From 15-19 January 2024, the training of examiners for the qualification examination of Sino-German Cooperation in Advanced Vocational Education (SGAVE) was successfully concluded at the Sino-German Demonstration Base of Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration. More than 50 teachers from nearly 30 colleges and universities across China, including Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University, Suzhou Jianxiong Vocational and Technical College, Hubei Institute of Science and Technology Vocational and Technical College, Wuhan Institute of Software Engineering Vocational College, Wenzhou Institute of Vocational and Technical College, and Harbin Institute of Vocational and Technical College, participated in the training.

Participating teachers said that the training was very fruitful. The SGAVE project student assessment and certification system aims at comprehensively testing and evaluating students’ problem-solving ability and comprehensive vocational literacy, and is oriented to the needs of skilled talents in enterprises, with the advantages of advanced concept, comprehensive content and scientific evaluation, which provides standards and directions for the cultivation of complex high-skilled talents in the four professional dimensions of nominal competence, functional competence, process competence and design competence, and in the two comprehensive dimensions of learning competence and social competence.
