From July 15 to August 16, 2024, the 5th phase of the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education (SGAVE) Intelligent Manufacturing Faculty Training was conducted simultaneously in Zibo, Qingdao, Wuhan, Changzhou, and Zhuzhou. Nearly 2,000 teachers from over 40 institutions nationwide, including Fujian Polytechnic of Information Technology, Hubei Science And Technology College, Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College, and Jinan Vocational College, participated in this training.

The training covered mechatronics technology and industrial robotics technology, encompassing 130 learning scenarios. It aimed to comprehensively enhance the teaching capabilities of the participants from the dimensions of professional skills, pedagogy, and teaching quality management. The goal was to enable the teachers to effectively combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills, thereby improving their hands-on abilities.

Hu Pengchang, Director of the Rhein Koester Education and Training Center, who was responsible for the implementation of the training courses, stated that the SGAVE project is a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of Education and leading companies from Germany and other European countries with advanced vocational education models.

At the closing ceremony, Chen Yi, Secretary-General of the SGAVE Secretariat and Professor at Tongji University, extended his warmest congratulations to the teachers who successfully completed the training. He also expressed his sincere thanks to Rhein Koester for their valuable cooperation in this training program.
