On 25 April 2023, the Secretary General of the Sino-German Cooperation in Advanced Vocational Education (SGAVE), Chen Yi, the Head of Public Relations of the Secretariat, Xu Zhiju, and the Advisor of the Secretariat, KJ Brix, and a delegation of four people visited Rhein Koester for the investigation und study.

During the forum, Secretary General Chen Yi expressed that Rhein Koester should rely on the Sino-German Smart Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base, give full play to its advantages in international resources in the field of smart manufacturing and talent training, work together with the pilot institutions to explore more new mechanisms and new models for the education and training of outstanding engineers, and jointly train more outstanding engineers of world level who can adapt to the development of the new era and provide support for highly skilled talents to serve economic development.
